Danfield Audio ApS is a Danish design company specializing in the design and manufacture of performance audio systems for the media industry. It is a young company - that already has a 30 year history of excellence in the audio engineering field.

Danfield Audio was formed as a limited company in July 2007 from the organization that was simply known as Danfield - the renowned Danish audio engineering firm formed by Freddy Albrektsen in the city of Aarhus in the early 1980's.

For over two decades, Danfield provided a portfolio of high quality products, technical support and production services to the audio industry throughout Scandinavia.

Over the last two years, Danfield Audio has built upon this solid foundation, and streamlined its enterprise into a bespoke audio design company. It has concentrated on implementing innovative design and manufacture technologies into its build processes, by utilizing high quality local manufacturing partners with specific experience in each product build process. This enables the company and its products to continue to be at the cutting edge of analog audio design.

This allows us to continue to provide high quality products to our clients that are designed and built in Denmark for a fair price - something that has and always will be important to us.

Small but important changes in our manufacturing processes has also enabled us for the first time to offer five year warranties on all our released products. Furthermore, our older systems have maintained a high second hand price in the resellers’ marketplace.

And yes, if a client buys a vintage system we are, we have been, and we will still be honored to tweak it back up specification again.
