monitor custom: select, specify, review and order...by design

Not every element of a stock released design is actually useful to every client.

Therefore, Danfield Audio has designed a custom framework that allows a client to specify exactly what is needed for their application, and their price range.

What can be customized?
Just about everything that is worthwhile to customize - from Inputs to outputs - even the colour. We can even put your own company logo on the finished unit.

The device is customized by what we term - the COGs - Custom Option Groups.



What are the custom option groups?

INPUTS: Number of inputs, balanced, unbalanced, connectors - TRS, DSub25, Phono, XLR
OUTPUTS: Number of outputs, balanced, unbalanced, connectors - TRS, DSub25, Phono, XLR
TRIMS: Trims on all inputs and outputs, fixed unity gain, visible trims, trims in processor box only.
CUES: Number of Cues 1-4
AUTOCUE: Addition of Danfield Audio innovative CUE - Talkback control system (see monitor2)
HEADPHONES: Up to four headphone outputs, specify MONO, CUT and VOLUME, and INPUT selection.
SUB CONTROL: Up to 2 SubMistress sections, with GAIN and LPF, INT/EXT source control.
CENTRE CONTROL: Separate Centre speaker control with GAIN and trim control.
LOCAL /REMOTE CONTROL:Remote control or LOCAL control. Local control only available for 2U processor racks only.
COLOUR: Choose between standard RAL 1015 (Danfield Ivory), RAL 9005 (Danfield Black). Other RAL colours available on request.
LOGO: Choose if own company logo is detailed upon remote and processor.
TALKBACK:Select between INT talkback mic, EXT talback mic, Switched or momentary.
METER: External meter. Internal Danfield Audio PPM meter - in 2U processor rack only.
DIFF: Add difference button to the remote or processor.
REF: Choose 1 reference level (REF2) or two reference monitor level (REF3).
MONO CUT DIM CUTL &R:Select All or combination of the group.
VAR DIM: Select DIM control on processor.
PSU: Select internal or external PSU.
REMOTE cable: Select length (standard 5m)
Wiring: Select cable looming option. unit will be ordered with all custom connectors for the system.

What is the process of specifying and ordering?
We have made this as simple as possible.To reduce spam-mail and web junk:

1.Send an e-mail to us.
2. We will contact you within 24 hours with a link to an on - line form that will allow you to specify your custom unit.
3. On receipt of the filled out form, we will specify a system description and a price for the design.
4. If this is agreed, we will then draw a 3D scheme of the design, and send it to you for final approval.
5. On approval, a build timeline is then given.

What about initial costs?
All custom designs require a 50% build deposit.

Timescale?
Average timeline to delivery after build deposit received is between 6 to 8 weeks.
