Custom designs for our clients over the years have been an integral part of our company.


It is an excellent source to test ideas and concepts that can end up in our actual released product range.

More importantly, it allows us to talk to you!
We have found over the years that great ideas don't just come from engineering designers with a scientific calculator and a CADCAM - they come from the people that actually use the gear for their livelehood. They have also found that even the great production designs from other eminent manufacturers are also not perfect for their specific requirements.

And so as Danfield in their custom build role, they have provided that missing link that makes a clients life with their gear all the more happier.

Over the years we have provided solutions for acoustic-optical light shows, tricked out in-line consoles with specific monitor options, designed custom guitar FX pedal gain boosters and FX pedal switching systems, custom power solutions, custom large scale studio cue susyems, reverberation amplifier replacement packages, made talkback and cue systems for classical recording and film scoring, customised line driver and DI systems, built custom environmental limter systems for noise control applications and many, many more. All bespoke. All given special care and design attention.

system: hybrid mono 726 in a retro box
comments: Danfield Audio was asked to provide a mono peak compression system in a funky retro table top package. The system would also have an external power supply, also custom designed. And so the Sprachtomatograficom was born - based upon a standard Danfield Audio 726 audio circuit. We would show a full high resolution image, but as even the owner maintains that it is so good that he doesn't want any one else to have one - then we can only do this. Hail the Sprachtomatograficom...
